The Eighth Beatitude

"Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Nothing comes easily in life. The meaning of the last Beatitude is to tell you if you really love God then there might be obstacles to keep you away from God. No matter the obstacle, you would still love God and that nothing can keep you away from God.
An example would be all the martyrs that has gave their life to God for their religion. Even though they was getting persecuted hey didn’t care about nothing but to worship God either living or dead.

  1. Vinh, I agree with your meaning there may be obstacles in the way of your faith. Your example was also good, because martyrs would die for their faith.
