The Eighth Beatitude

"Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Nothing comes easily in life. The meaning of the last Beatitude is to tell you if you really love God then there might be obstacles to keep you away from God. No matter the obstacle, you would still love God and that nothing can keep you away from God.
An example would be all the martyrs that has gave their life to God for their religion. Even though they was getting persecuted hey didn’t care about nothing but to worship God either living or dead.

The Seventh Beatitude

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God."

The Seventh Beatitudes is about peacemakers. The peacemaker doesn’t just promotes peace but they also live it out everyday of their life. They set an example of peace to show everyone that violence isn’t the only way. This Beatitude meaning is to tell us to follow the ways of peace and violence only leads to more violence.

An example of this is Mohandas Gondi. He believe in non violence and that nothing can be resolve with violence. During the struggles and hardship due to violence he encourage many people to not use violence to strike back but peace because peace brings peace and violence brings violence.

The Sixth Beatitude

"Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God."

The Sixth Beatitude means that all who don’t sin and isn’t selfish will see the face of God. People who put other needs before them is pure at heart. To be pure of heart you must show agape love, a love that is self sacrificing.

An example of this is the soldiers. The soldiers fight not for themselves but for the people they love and everyone else. They aren’t selfish because they are willing to risk their life to protect others.

The Fourth Beatitude

"Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."

The Fourth Beatitude means that the people who look for good in everything will find it and know that it exist everywhere. If you do good then that good would effect people to do good to others and pretty soon that good would spread to everyone.

An example of this would be a priest of a Catholic Church. A priest is a person chosen by God to help people and spread the good news. A priest looks for the good in everyone and he doesn’t judge a single person. No matter their background or the number of sins they committed, a the priest would look at everyone the same because we a all children of God.

The Fifth Beatitue

"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy."

The Fifth Beatitude means that if we have the mercy to forgive someone who has done us wrong than God would show us the mercy to forgive us as we forgave others. It takes a bigger person to forgive and forget than it does to take a person to apologize.

There was a guy y the name of Jim. Jim was sentence to jail for robbery. Five years after Jim was released from jail, he started a new life and was very happy. He got married and had two kids. One night when him and his family came home they have discovered that they have just been robbed. They reported it to the police and the police made an arrest earlier that night when they saw a suspicious person with a truck load of things. The police ask Jim if he would like to put charges against the guy. Jim thought about it for a long time and decided to not press charges but forgive the man. Jim believed that everyone deserve a second chance and if God forgave him years ago for robbery then he can do the same to others.

The Third Beatitude

"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."

The Third Beatitude means that the people whom are obedience and would obey God no matter what will be able to spread peace and make all land of all people one.

An example of this would be like a missionary. The missionary is a teacher that teaches others about God’s words. The missionary would go to other countries and tell other people about God and promote peace everywhere he would go. The missionary goes to new places to teach others because God wants the everyone to know of the Word of God. The missionary obeys God decisions and is appy to spread the good news and peace to everyone in the world,

The Second Beatitude

"Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

The Second Beatitude means that when someone commit a sin, they would often mourn over their mistakes because they had did something against God. But after they die they would be comfort by God because they know what they did wrong and is forgiven.
Christmas was coming soon and there was a new toy that everyone had. A boy really wants the toy but he knows that his family couldn’t afford it. One day he went over his best friend house and saw that his friend just got the new toy and since his best friend parents are divorce he got two of the toys. While his best friend went to the bathroom he put one of the toy in his book bag and his friend came back, he said he had to go home now. He knew that taking the toy was wrong but he really wanted it. The boy felt really guilty and mourn about the mistake that he did. He felt so bad that he return the toy back to his friend and apologize. The boy learned from his mistakes and was comforted by God at night, sleeping freely of guilt.
